The New York Art Forensics Laboratory provides services that interface art and science with the purpose of providing insights in to authorship and attribution. The laboratory employs peer-reviewed criminal forensics standards and methods applied to determining if the artwork in question and its purported date of creation is consistent with the material analysis.  New York Art Forensics believes in a strong commitment to Scientific Method and the importance of producing reproducible results. Examinations can be done in our laboratory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Alternatively the New York Art Forensics team can travel to the location of the artwork and perform our examinations there on site.
